Solent Exit - Coaching Session
In partnership with Winning Tides we are running a pre-season coaching session that will focus on the tidal strategies of exiting the Solent to the West.
The session will run in two parts; an evening theory discussion and supper on Saturday 29th March, 2025 hosted at the Royal Ocean Racing Club, this will be followed by the theory being put into practice on Sunday 30th March.
The session is limited to 20 boats [Crew numbers are not limited]
Entry fee includes:
Saturday night – theory coaching session with Graham Sunderland (The man behind Winning Tides)
Sunday – Practice Starts, on water session & analysis (RYS start line to Hurst)
Two course supper for 2 on Saturday night (Additional dinners can be purchased)

With a very light and variable wind forecasted for the second round of the Solent Super Series things were looking very tricky this past weekend for competitors and Race Committee alike. Island Sailing Club Race Officer Rich Palmer elected to
