Whilst flossing lines and weed sticks have been common place on offshore boats, often using a soft line or a home-made stick, FourthCape have developed an off the shelf solution.Â
The WeedWand, developed and produced by FourthCape. is a premium, light weight solution that all twin rudder boats cannot be without.
A ridged carbon handle with a fixed hook, covered in a soft rope jacket allows users to simply and easily hook onto the top, front edge of the rudder and slide down to the tip. Pushing any debris off the bottom of the foil without causing damage to the rudder blade.
Available as a single piece 2m Carbon Handle, Two-Piece Handle (For easy/cost effective shipping outside of UK) and the Extra Long WeedWand Plus.
